The Malt House

The Malt House is the village hall of Alveston and the main hall is large enough to seat 80 people comfortably for a meal, or up to 100 for a more informal gathering.  There is also a gallery which is ideal for a meeting or a group of up to 20 people.

The Main Hall

Large enough to seat 80 people comfortably for a meal, or up to 100 for a more informal gathering and is ideal for parties or regular booking such as dance classes, fitness classes, art classes etc. It has flexible lighting which is dimmable to suit all activities.

Ideal for a meeting or a group of up to 20 people.

Information

Main Hall

80 upholstered chairs, 12 large tables and 8 small tables

Kitchen

There is a well-equipped small kitchen with crockery, cutlery and glasses for 90 people, refrigerator, microwave and electric cooker.
There is also a commercial dishwasher (please contact Booking Secretary for instructions).

Music

The hall has an entertainment license and easy to use Bluetooth speakers.

Alcohol

Individuals wishing to SELL alcohol at a function are responsible for making their own license application from Stratford District Council.

Noise

Please respect the village by arriving at and leaving the hall quietly and we ask that the Malt House is cleared and closed by Midnight.

Hire Charges

Main Hall – £15.00 per hour (minimum charge £30.00)

Gallery – £11.50 per hour (minimum charge £23.00)

Whole Premises – £120.00 per day

Discounts are available for Regular Bookings
